Hi, I’m Liz — a specialist newborn photographer based in Bisley, Woking, Surrey, and I’m so happy you’ve found your way here. I know firsthand how overwhelming those early days of parenthood can be, and my biggest priority is making sure you feel supported, comfortable, and cared for the moment you walk through my studio doors.
My calm, welcoming studio in Bisley has been thoughtfully designed to be a peaceful retreat for new parents. While I gently and safely photograph your little one — capturing every tiny yawn, stretch, and sleepy smile — you can sit back, relax, and just breathe. Whether you’ve had a smooth journey into parenthood or a more challenging start, your wellbeing matters here. I’ve created this space with you in mind, because I believe mental health matters deeply after having a baby, and taking time to slow down and celebrate your baby’s arrival can be incredibly healing.
As an experienced newborn photographer in Surrey, I specialise in creating soft, timeless images that reflect the pure beauty of your baby’s first days. My sessions are baby-led, never rushed (y0u're welcome to stay all day if you want to!) and always focused on keeping your little one safe and settled. I also offer maternity photography, baby milestone sessions, and family portraits, so you can continue capturing your family’s story as it unfolds.
Choosing someone to photograph your newborn is a big decision — and I don’t take that trust lightly. I’m here not just to take beautiful photos, but to offer an experience where you feel genuinely looked after, seen, and celebrated. My studio is on my property in Bisley but totally separate to my house making it a permanent dedicated space to capture your memories. Driveway parking is available right outside aswell as local bus and train links making it easy to travel to from areas across Surrey, Hampshire and London.

Welcome!
If you are looking for a newborn photographer, that will likely mean a congratulations is due!
When looking for your newborn photographer, I know there are so many questions you have or things to look for – it can be a bit overwhelming. Every one of us puts our heart and soul into our job as it’s not something you can do without being extremely passionate about these brand new little people that are brought into us.
For me, the pictures produced are of course important but above all, the safety and comfort of your newborn is my top priority. Also the experience for you is where I try to stand out from the crowd. My spacious, private studio is equipped with a large comfy sofa, full size baby changing table and all the necessities (nappies, waterwipes, spare formula, nipple pads etc) you and baby would need should you forget anything.
The table is always stocked with water bottles, snacks and treats to go along with your tea or coffee I make as you arrive.

Having a baby is a wonderful time but it comes with a lot of expense and you need to be prepared. This is why I created my all inclusive package so that there are no unexpected costs and you know exactly how much you are investing from the start.

I am one of the few Newborn Photographers in Surrey that offers prop images and table poses whilst also being totally baby led. Their comfort comes first and I will never ever force them into a pose they are not 100% happy with. They all have their own likes and ways of feeling secure so I ensure I spend time getting to know them and reading those cues as to not overstimulate them. When you book, you get sent a questionnaire to tell me all about your family, set ups and colours you like etc and if theres anything look in particular you’d like to create in the session. Using this info, I then plan a workflow to combine all your requests and give us the best possible chance of getting it all. I never guarantee any poses as it’s just not possible! But I do guarantee to show emotion and authenticity in your photos – to capture them perfectly exactly as they are.
I get asked a lot if I’ve ever had a baby that just won’t settle and the answer is of course. However I’ve never had to give up as it’s just a case of me finding what it is they need. I only book in 1 session a day so that there is never a rush – as you can’t exactly tell a newborn to hurry up! The whole environment needs to remain calm and controlled which is done by keeping it nice and warm (I am constantly monitoring the temperature in the room and adjusting baby’s layers accordingly). I also have Alexa playing meditation music so there is some sound but it’s relaxing too! There is absolutely zero pressure and we can all just sit down, drink tea and chat whilst baby feeds or does whatever it needs to feel happy.

Baby Casting
available to add onto your newborn session
As well as photographs, casting captures those moments you never want to forget. Casting of the hands and feet has grown to be so popular over the years. The casting process itself takes no more than 10-15 minutes so this can be done at the start of your session simply whilst you are feeding baby on the sofa with a cup of tea.
The hard work is then done after your photos are finished and once you're snuggled at home. I prepare the casts, paint and frame in the style/colour of your choice which is then packaged and delivered to you. Just ask me when booking your newborn session for pricing information and to add this service on.

The best time to have your newborn photographed in those sleepy curled up poses is between 7 and 21 days (although it is possible to do it after this stage) so ideally you want to be getting in touch when you're pregnant. You can book in anytime from after your 20 week scan. The date is roughly pencilled in and only confirmed once baby arrives and you know how everything is. If they come early or late, it's not a problem to adjust the date - they are in charge after all!
